Frances Bobalek is a writer and comedienne

Fran was showrunner on the multi-cam sitcom LODGED and won the 2026 Southeast Student Emmy for Writing.

They’ve script read for Creative Engine (YELLOWJACKETS) and at Marta Kauffman’s Okay Goodnight (GRACE AND FRANKIE).

They write comedies about women exorcising the man inside of them, and how people change other people for good (tm, courtesy of WICKED).
